About Law Office of Wendy E. Zicht

I have been a lawyer for over 31 years, because I thoroughly enjoy helping others. From January 2011 to April 2013, I served as a Pierce County Superior Court Commissioner. I presided over family law, probate/estate, guardianship, mental illness, juvenile court, and other matters. I chose to leave the bench and to return to private practice. I missed lawyering and directly helping others. I still occasionally serve as a Commissioner Pro Tempore, but my passion is to help people stay out of court. 

My practice focuses on divorce, legal separation, parenting plans, and support issues. I assist people who are in high conflict and those who are amicable. My prior experience as a social worker and my mediation skills are essential to helping others handle stress and to focus on long term goals.  The collaborative model has been part of my practice since 2006. I provide a free 1/2 hour consultation to new clients to discuss process options.
